Marion County Fire Rescue Battles RV Fire on Father’s Day
Early Father’s Day morning, the dedicated team from Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) Station #19, known as the “Sparrtans,” responded to an RV fire that broke out. Under the command of Battalion Chief #1, Engine 19 and Tanker 19 were promptly dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew faced a challenging situation as the RV was already engulfed in flames. Demonstrating remarkable efficiency and teamwork, the firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the surrounding area.

This incident serves as a testament to the bravery and commitment of the MCFR team, who continue to protect the community even on holidays. The fire was successfully extinguished without any reported injuries, thanks to the quick response and expertise of Battalion Chief #1 and his crew.
