On or between 08/09/2024 at 4:00 PM and 08/12/2024 at 10:00 AM at 11292 SE 67th Cir, an unknown suspect committed the offenses of burglary and criminal mischief by breaking into the residence and burning the carpet in a room, costing approximately $570 to replace.

On 08/19/2024 at 9:35 AM, a white female was placed under a Baker Act after making suicidal statements.
Battery
On 08/19/2024 at approximately 6:18 AM at the 5000 block of 107th Pl, Aqueya Washington (B/F 08/23/1989) was placed under arrest for battery after striking Alexia Faison in the face, causing a laceration.
Suicide/Death Investigation
Investigation revealed that on 08/19/2024 at the Vin Mar Motel located at 5018 SE Abshier Blvd, a white female was found deceased.
Retail Theft
On 08/19/2024 at approximately 5:52 PM at 11310 US Hwy 301, Belleview, FL 34420, an unknown white male wearing a black bucket hat and a white tee committed the offense of retail petit theft by walking into the store and stealing cartons of cigarettes off the counter, valued at approximately $400.
Baker Act
On 08/19/2024 at approximately 8:30 PM, a white female juvenile was placed under a Baker Act due to ingesting approximately 30 tablets of Risperidone. She was transported to Advent Ocala for treatment by Marion County Fire Rescue.
Felony Battery, Criminal Mischief
On 08/21/2024 at 5800 SE Abshier Blvd (CVS), Cpl. Harrington and Pfc. Hunt responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival, they found a man on the ground with an employee standing over him. Cpl. Harrington detained the man, Steven Foster (W/M 06/20/1956), in handcuffs. Foster had become irate at the pharmacy, caused a disturbance, and, after being asked to leave, smashed a gallon jug of water onto the ground. He then grabbed the victim by the throat. The victim managed to free himself and subdued Foster. Foster was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail. A prior battery conviction made this instance a felony. The case was closed by arrest.

On 08/21/2024 at 5190 SE 125th St (Souls Harbor Christian Academy), Amanda J. Horner (W/F 11/21/1985) was issued a trespass warning by management.
Uttering a Forged Check, Petit Theft
On 08/21/2024 at 5407 SE 111th St (Wells Fargo), an unidentified black male committed the offenses by providing an altered check to the victim and exchanging it for $370 in cash.
Drive While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked
On 08/22/2024 at SE Lillian Cir/SE Robinson Rd, Samuel Danow (W/M 09/15/1983) was issued a criminal citation for driving while his license was suspended after a traffic stop for no headlights.
Burglary of a Conveyance, Petit Theft
On 08/22/2024 at 5119 SE 102nd Pl (Texas Underground), Ryan R. Cartier (W/M 11/08/1984) committed the listed offenses by entering a toolbox attached to a trailer and stealing an aerosol canister. Cartier was arrested on 08/23/2024.
Domestic Battery
On 08/23/2024 at 2:48 PM, Miosoty Mendez (H/F, 08/21/1980) committed domestic battery upon her daughter by striking her with a broom handle and a stand mixer lid during an argument, causing visible injuries. Miosoty was arrested for battery in violation of FSS 784.03(1).
Recovered Property
On 08/23/2024, a black men’s wallet was located alongside the roadway on Hwy 441 near the Ford dealership. It was turned in at the Belleview Police Department.
Warrant Arrest
On 08/23/2024 at approximately 9:29 PM at 5305 SE Abshier Blvd, Trevante Demarius Taylor (B/M 06/23/1995) was arrested on a warrant.
Violation of Pretrial Release/Order of No Contact
Investigation revealed that on 08/24/2024 at approximately 6:11 PM, Miosoty A. Mendez (H/F, 08/21/1980) violated the order of no contact by returning to her residence to pick up personal belongings.
Burglary/Battery/Grand Theft
On 08/24/2024, an unknown white male sideswiped the victim at the intersection of SE 132nd St Rd and SE Hwy 484, struck the victim in the neck, and then took his phone and vehicle keys.
Domestic Battery
On 08/24/2024 at 3:17 PM, Bardhyl Qosaj (W/M 02/08/1977) was placed under arrest after striking the victim and pushing her.
Marchman Act
On 08/24/2024, an adult female was placed under a Marchman Act for being highly intoxicated and unable to care for herself. MCFR responded to the scene to transport her.
Domestic Battery/Battery/Tampering with a Witness
Investigation revealed that on 08/25/2024 at 11990 SE CR Hwy 484 (Chevron), Phillip R. Tuggle (B/M 04/17/1962) committed the offenses of domestic battery, battery, and tampering with a witness by grabbing and scratching the victim and smacking a phone out of another victim’s hands, preventing them from calling 911.
Trespass Warning
On 08/26/2024 at approximately 1:41 AM, Kristine S. Murdock (W/F 02/01/1984) was issued a trespass warning from 5113 SE Abshier Blvd (AutoZone) for loitering after hours and setting up camp behind the establishment.
