Scheme to Defraud, Grand Theft 

Between 1/13/2025 and 2/10/2025, at SE 108th St, an unknown white male committed the offense of organized fraud against the victim by providing an estimate for a tree trimming service, collecting a cash deposit, and then failing to perform the work before blocking the victim. 

Petit Theft 

On 2/25/2025, at the Save-A-Lot parking lot, 10751 S US Hwy 441, an unknown white male committed the offense of petit theft by stealing a wallet out of the victim’s purse, valued at $40. 

Petit Theft 

On 2/25/2025, at approximately 6:15 PM, at Family Dollar, 5810 SE Abshier Blvd, an unknown female committed the offense of petit theft by stealing $6 worth of merchandise. 

Battery 

On 2/25/2025, at Circle K, 5198 SE Abshier Blvd, an unknown white male committed the offense of battery against the victim by striking the victim in the face with an alcohol can and then punching the victim in the face. 

Battery 

On 2/26/2025, at approximately 5:50 PM, at 5710 SE 110 Pl (Belleview Splash Pad), an unknown male allegedly punched a juvenile victim in a failed attempt to take his basketball. No visible injuries, witnesses, or surveillance footage were observed. A wide canvas of surrounding areas was conducted with no suspect located. This investigation remains ongoing pending further information. 

Battery 

On 2/27/2025, at approximately 4:25 AM, at 5155 SE 115th St, Apt 21, Katherine A. DeThomas (W/F 03/04/1985) reported that her roommate, Cynthia E. Morales (H/F 10/19/1987), had choked her. Due to a lack of physical evidence or independent witnesses, this incident was deemed unfounded. 

Grand Theft 

On 2/27/2025, at 5615 SE 110th St (Splash Park, Belleview, FL 34420), a City of Belleview employee, Robert T. Dyches, reported that two Hayward pumps, valued at $5,000, were stolen from the enclosed section of the park approximately two weeks ago. 

Baker Act 

On 2/27/2025, a third-grade student was placed under a Baker Act after making statements while attending Belleview Elementary School. 

Battery 

On 2/27/2025, at approximately 11:40 AM, the victim advised that between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM, while at SE 54th Ave, her juvenile son battered her by pushing her, injuring her hip and knee. 

Death Investigation 

On 2/27/2025, at approximately 4:23 PM, at SE 107th Pl, a death investigation was conducted, and it was determined that the decedent passed away from natural causes. 

Possession of Paraphernalia 

On 2/28/2025, at approximately 2:11 AM, in the 5700 block of SE Abshier Blvd, Robert G. Dermenjian (W/M 04/17/1957) committed the offenses of possession of paraphernalia (use) and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. He was taken to the Marion County Jail subsequent to a traffic stop. 

Trespass Warning 

On 2/28/2025, at approximately 3:00 AM, Raymond Svend Thomsen Adserballe (W/M DOB: 03/21/1974) was issued a trespass warning from 5305 SE Abshier Blvd (RaceTrac) at the request of the manager on duty. Adserballe was informed that returning to the property after the issuance of this permanent barring notice is enforceable under Florida §810.08 as a misdemeanor. 

Child Abuse 

On 2/28/2025, the suspect allegedly committed the offense of child abuse by holding a knife to her juvenile son’s throat. 

Simple Battery 

On 3/1/2025, at 6666 SE 110th St (Opus Bar and Billiards), Neion Porter allegedly committed the offense of simple battery against Summer Helm (W/F 08/02/1998) by striking her in the face with a closed fist. This case was closed without an arrest due to multiple factors. 

Suspicious Incident 

On 3/1/2025, at 5556 SE Hwy 484 (Belleview Elementary School), a suspicious incident was reported to the SRO.
