Belleview firefighters wasted no time dousing a shed fire Friday afternoon, bringing the flames under control in just eight minutes.
Marion County Fire Rescue units were dispatched at 1:29 p.m. to the 6500 block of SE 111th Place after multiple 911 callers reported heavy black smoke billowing from the property. Engine and Rescue #18 arrived by 1:32 p.m., confirming the shed was ablaze. Reinforcements, including Tower #2, Rescue #518, and Engine #30, followed as Battalion #3 took command.
Firefighters knocked down the flames by 1:37 p.m. No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
