23-Time Convict Sentenced to 50-Year Prison Term

A Marion County man with a lengthy criminal history has been sentenced to 50 years in prison following a jury’s verdict in a drug trafficking case.

On March 6, 2025, a jury found 43-year-old Santini Antwain Chisholm guilty on five counts related to armed drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession. The conviction included charges of armed trafficking in fentanyl, two counts of armed trafficking in a controlled substance, armed trafficking in oxycodone, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Judge Barbara Kissner-Kwatkosky handed down the sentence, which ensures Chisholm will serve decades behind bars.
The case originated from a 2021 investigation by the Florida Department of Probation and Parole. During a routine home check at a residence on Hemlock Course in Ocala, probation officials discovered firearms and narcotics. Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were called in to assist, and further examination of the home led to the discovery of additional illegal substances, drug paraphernalia, large amounts of cash, and multiple firearms.
Authorities identified Chisholm as the primary suspect in the case. When questioned, he denied ownership of the drugs and firearms found inside the residence. His co-defendant, Latoya Wilkerson-Chisholm, was also implicated but did not confirm whether the narcotics belonged to her husband.

Wilkerson-Chisholm entered a plea in 2023 and was sentenced to 21 months in prison, with credit for time served, followed by three years of probation and 200 hours of community service.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Marissa Meyer Shannon and Kyle Lambert.
