Woman Claims ‘Devil Minions’ Set Her Up in Failed Car Heist

Ex-Girlfriend’s Return to Ex’s Property Ends with Burglary, Damage, and an Attempted Car Heist

A routine day turned into a crime spree when Diamond Nicole Lofton Salmon allegedly returned to her ex-boyfriend’s mother’s property, leading to a series of charges that now include burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and attempted grand theft of a vehicle.

On March 11, 2025, Elizabeth Collie arrived home to find her two vehicles—one a Honda Civic and the other a Ford pickup—slightly ajar, but she thought little of it. The vehicles, both suffering from mechanical issues preventing them from locking, had been left in their usual state earlier that day.

But when Collie’s daughter, Maya Mickens, noticed Salmon near the property later that day, things took a turn. It wasn’t until the next day that Collie discovered extensive damage to her Honda Civic’s ignition, leading her to realize that the damage could only have been caused by someone attempting to steal the car. The shocking discovery? A screwdriver inside the vehicle—one that Collie knew belonged to her pickup truck, not the Civic.

Further investigation led to surveillance footage from a neighboring residence, showing Salmon walking past the camera on the same evening, just hours before the vehicles were tampered with. When confronted by law enforcement, Salmon initially denied involvement, even as evidence stacked against her.

Her strange interview with deputies only deepened suspicions, as she waffled between first and third-person references and spoke about “devil minions” allegedly setting her up. Despite denying any wrongdoing, Salmon was arrested on charges ranging from burglary of a conveyance to attempted grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Salmon, a previously trespassed individual at the residence, has a history of theft, with multiple prior convictions for motor vehicle theft, adding to the growing list of charges against her.
