On the evening of April 16, 2025, Marion County deputies found themselves in the middle of a chaotic and violent domestic dispute that involved not just heated words but also a flying liquor bottle and a lawn lamp turned weapon.
According to the victim, Timothy Moore, his evening took an unexpected turn when his intoxicated girlfriend, Amber Brown, insisted on making a detour to a local drug house. When Moore refused to comply, things escalated fast. While driving her to her parents’ house, Brown became violent, attacking Moore in the car, grabbing the steering wheel, and refusing to leave the vehicle once they arrived at the house.
The altercation continued outside, where the victim says Brown became aggressive, pushing, punching, and even throwing a liquor bottle at him. But the real twist came when she grabbed a heavy-duty metal lawn lamp and threatened to stab him with the stake at the end. Not one to back down, Brown proceeded to break the lamp during the altercation.
After reviewing home security footage, deputies confirmed the physical attack, which included repeated punches, threats with the lamp, and a successful strike to the victim’s leg with the thrown liquor bottle. Brown, who was visibly intoxicated, also admitted to consuming meth earlier in the day.
Despite her claims that Moore punched her first, there was no sign of injury, and Brown was arrested on charges including domestic battery, aggravated battery, and assault. As if the drama wasn’t enough, she became irate and made suicidal statements upon her arrest.
Now, Brown will face the consequences of her actions, but one thing’s for sure—this was not the kind of homecoming anyone expected.
