Fur-parents, take note: your furry friend’s next vet visit might cost less than your last fast food run. Sunshine Drug in Belleview will host a low-cost pet vaccination clinic this Thursday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a second opportunity in Ocala at Seminole 40 West on Saturday, July 26 at 10 a.m.
Vaccines are first come, first served, and supplies are strictly limited to what’s on hand—so don’t stroll in late expecting red carpet service.
A one-year rabies shot is just $14, with distemper/parvo and kennel cough available too. Combo packages range from $32 to $54, with the most expensive still cheaper than a single trip to the groomer.
Exact change is king, and leave your plastic at home—cash or check only, no bills over $20. Cats must be in carriers (yes, one per carrier), and dogs on leashes. Sick pets or “flight risk” felines may be turned away.
No appointments are needed, but you must arrive at least 15 minutes before closing to allow for shots and paperwork.
Proceeds benefit the Florida International Teaching Zoo, so by helping your pet, you’re also helping wild animals get the care they need. Now that’s a win-win.
