A Summerfield woman was arrested on September 20 after deputies say she forced her way into a friend’s home and attacked her boyfriend with a liquor bottle and a candle.
According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies responded around 12:44 a.m. to a residence in reference to a burglary and aggravated domestic battery. The victim, identified in the affidavit as Eddie Gammage, told deputies that 27-year-old Alexia Joan Faison entered the home without permission and struck him several times with a Hennessy bottle taken from the counter. He said she also hit him with a candle and her hands before a friend pulled her away.
The witness, Janerika Webb, confirmed that Faison entered uninvited and assaulted the victim. Webb told deputies the victim never struck back and that Faison “had no authority to enter the residence.”
Deputies observed a laceration on the back of the victim’s head consistent with his account. After the confrontation, Faison allegedly followed the victim outside and broke two windows on his car.
Faison, of Summerfield, was arrested and charged with burglary and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She was booked into the Marion County Jail without bond.
