Families are invited to celebrate Halloween safely and sweetly at New Bethel Community Church’s annual Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The free event, held at 8780 SE 157th Place, promises an evening full of music, candy, cookies, and apple cider, along with a Halloween photo op and a fall basket drawing. The church parking lot will be transformed into a festive space where families can visit decorated car trunks filled with treats.
Organizers say the goal is to provide a fun, family-oriented alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating while fostering community spirit. Kids can show off their costumes, enjoy themed decorations, and take part in the seasonal fun without the spooky frights.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, contact New Bethel Community Church at (352) 347-4001.
