Motorists traveling north on Interstate 75 in Marion County should prepare for overnight ramp closures this week as part of an ongoing interchange improvement project at County Road 484.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the northbound I-75 off ramp to C.R. 484 at Exit 341 will close beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, and again on Thursday, June 4. The ramp is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. the following mornings.
The temporary closures are necessary for milling and resurfacing work.
During the closures, northbound motorists wishing to access C.R. 484 will be directed to continue north on I-75 to State Road 200 at Exit 350. Drivers should then turn left onto S.R. 200, immediately access the southbound I-75 entrance ramp, and travel south to Exit 341 for C.R. 484.
The work is part of a larger interchange improvement project along C.R. 484 from west of Southwest 20th Avenue to east of County Road 475A.
FDOT reminds motorists to slow down, obey posted signs, and use caution while traveling through construction areas. Construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
