MARCHMAN ACT

On June 29, 2026, at Wawa, located at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd., a white female was placed under a Marchman Act and transported to HCA Ocala after becoming unresponsive while being treated by EMS.

BURGLARY/THEFT

On June 30, 2026, at approximately 7:22 p.m., it was reported that between May 27, 2026, and June 30, 2026, an unknown person committed burglary and theft by forcibly entering the victim’s apartment and stealing the victim’s driver’s license, Social Security card, insurance card, Chime debit card, PayPal card, and Instant Pay card. The suspect then used the Instant Pay card to steal approximately $672.73.

RETAIL THEFT

On June 30, 2026, at Family Dollar, located at 5810 SE Abshier Blvd., two Hispanic male suspects committed retail theft by taking several items of unknown value from the store without paying.

DUI/POSSESSION OF METH

On July 3, 2026, at Checkers, 5497 SE Abshier Blvd., Summer Weibel (W/F, DOB 09/24/1982) was charged with DUI (drugs), possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

BAKER ACT

On June 30, 2026, a white male was placed under the Baker Act at his residence after experiencing a schizophrenic episode.

PETIT THEFT

On July 1, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., at 6446 SE 112th St., Emily Gaines (W/F, DOB 03/19/1982) allegedly stole a brown backpack valued at approximately $20 belonging to the victim.

BATTERY

On July 3, 2026, at approximately 5:57 p.m., at Grab N Go Liquor and Smoke, 6157 SE Baseline Rd., Shane Siegel (W/M, DOB unknown) committed domestic battery by punching the victim in the face.

NO MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT

On July 4, 2026, Franklyn E. Mejia (H/M, DOB 11/05/2000) was charged with operating a motorcycle without the required endorsement.

FOUND PROPERTY

On July 4, 2026, at approximately 7:46 p.m., a red Bank of America credit card bearing the name Kathia N. Caraballo Matia was found at the Belleview Sports Complex, located at 6501 SE 107th St., during the Fourth of July event.
