The complainant reported that he discovered copper connections to the AC unit were stolen by an unknown person(s). Victim business D.R. Horton sustained an estimated loss of $300 for the connections.

On 09/18/2026, Cpl. Ortega responded to the police department and made contact with Lisa Ann Aradine regarding an unknown suspect utilizing her personal information. The victim reported on 08/31/2026, the unknown suspect used her name, address, and social security number to obtain a credit card. Further investigation required.

On 09/18/2026, Sgt. Esquivel and Trainee Fessler responded to Prestige Manor III, 6333 SE Babb Rd., in reference to a resident making threats to harm himself. After making contact and evaluating the 77-year-old subject, he was placed under a Baker Act due to statements made to harm himself with a fork.

On 09/19/2026, officers were dispatched to an apartment in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with a 17-year-old male who was placed under a Baker Act due to statements he made about harming himself.
Disorderly Conduct
On 09/19/2026, Lt. Miley received a call from a staff member at Belleview Christian Academy advising that an unknown black male was sleeping outside of a classroom on the second floor of an exterior building. Cpl. Ortega and Ofc. Driggers responded and made contact with Dominic Cooks (B/M 10/13/2002) who was asleep in a lawn chair fully nude. Cooks became aggravated and argumentative with officers upon being woke up. Cooks was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and issued a Trespass Warning.
Agg. Battery – Domestic
On 09/19/2026, officers responded to the parking lot of Lucky’s Upholstery, 6668 SE 110th St., in reference to a reported verbal disturbance. Ultimately, Amanda Wymer (W/F 08/23/1983) was placed under arrest for this listed charge after being observed on video striking the victim on the hands and arms with a tire iron.
Disorderly Intox
On 09/19/2026, officers responded to Circle K (5198 SE Abshier Blvd.) regarding a suspicious person. Upon further investigation, Calvin Epps (B/M, 10/01/1998) was placed under arrest for the listed offense. A store employee reported that Epps came into the store yelling profanities and disrupting business. The employee advised Epps left briefly and then returned and continued disrupting the store’s business which was witnessed by customers.
DUI
On 09/20/2026, Ofc. Driggers conducted a traffic stop at SE Front Rd./SE Foss Rd. due to an obstructed license plate. Upon making contact with the driver, Reno Jo Wiseman (W/M, 07/22/2005), Ofc. Driggers detected the odor of burnt marijuana. After further investigation, Wiseman was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to MCJ.
