Obituary: Services Announced for Jason Waldron

Jason Waldron, 49, passed away on July 4, 2024, at his home in Belleview. He was a loving husband, devoted father, son, brother, and dear friend to many.

Born in Eustis, raised in Belleview, Jason lived a life filled with laughter, love and kindness. He was known for his smile, quick wit, unwavering generosity and his love for the Florida Gators. Jason was often the man behind the camera, keeping up with the local youth sports events for The Voice of South Marion newspaper. He could also have been seen around town during his time working for the City of Belleview. He had his hands in many things in his small town, pouring concrete being one of his go-to trades.

Outside of work you could find him at the Sports Complex. Whether he was there watching and cheering on his kids or coaching. Jason was an avid sports fan and he loved being involved. Unless, of course, it was hunting season, then he enjoyed his time in the woods. He and his wife shared the love of exchanging photos of pine trees and pink skies. Jason will be greatly missed by his wife Kim and their six children – Jayson, Ally, Dillan, Samuel (Joe), Rhett and Bo. His mother Sandy, brother Clay, sister Kelly, nieces and nephews, extended family and many, many friends. Jason is proceeded in death by his father, James (Jim) Waldron.

Jason truly touched the lives of so many and will always be remembered fondly for his charm.

A memorial service for Jason Waldron will be held on Saturday, August 17th at 2 p.m. at The Barn at Bellemoor in Belleview. Following the service, a visitation and covered dish meal will take place at the home of his mother, Sandy Waldron.

The family is asking everyone who plans to attend to dress casual and wear orange and blue. Jason may have left this world but his love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Go Gators.
