Se Abshier Blvd/Se Babb Rd – Victoria K. King (W/F 04/30/1968) reported that something was thrown at her vehicle. This case is closed due to lack of evidence.

5272 SE 120th St – Travis Rutherford (W/M 12/17/1990) allegedly committed the listed offense against victim David Chilcot (W/M 5/9/1965) by entering his Nissan SUV and removing keys. Case pending active.

An unknown individual committed the offense of uttering forged bills, checks, drafts, or notes and theft from persons over 65 years of age by adding their name onto a money order check that belonged to Ferdinand Almeyda Hernandez (H/M 08/05/1950) and cashed it at Wells Fargo for $100.00 USD.
Recovered Property (Case No. 09-0172)
A small baggie with a powder substance was recovered at Belleview Methodist Church located at 5640 SE Brown Road. The item was placed into evidence at the police department to be destroyed.

5100 Blk of SE Abshier Blvd – Nicole L. Zyrek (W/F 04/30/1973) was issued criminal citations for unregistered motor vehicle and attaching an unassigned license plate following a traffic stop at approximately 12:33 AM.

11320 SE 53rd Ct – An unknown person committed the offense of criminal mischief by damaging the passenger side mirror on a Cadillac SUV belonging to Tonia Greve (W/F 07/21/1971), causing $150.00 in damage.

Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax), Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Marijuana, Escape
(Case No. 09-0214)
11005 SE 66th Ter (Neighborhood Pawn) – Officers responded to the location for a male subject behaving strangely in the parking lot. They located the man, identified as Anthony Rowley (W/M 11/24/1992), and observed behaviors indicating he was under the influence of an opioid. A baggie of suspected Xanax pills was observed in plain view in the man’s vehicle. Officers detained Rowley in handcuffs and discovered suspected marijuana on his person. A further search yielded suspected fentanyl in the vehicle near the Xanax. Rowley was taken to the hospital for medical clearance. After being cleared, he attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended and transported to the Marion County Jail without further incident.

Uttering Forged Bills (Case No. 09-0228)
11310 S US Hwy 301 (Winn Dixie) – Officers responded after a customer attempted to purchase items with a counterfeit $100 bill. The woman, identified as Sally McLanahan (W/F 12/12/1964), admitted she suspected the bill was fake but decided to use it anyway. She was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail without incident.
Suspicious Incident (Case No. 09-0231)
5150 SE 112th St Rd – Kenneth G. Edward (W/M 03/13/1964) reported that he was being held captive in his home. No evidence of this claim was discovered.

Subsequent Offense (Case No. 09-0232)
6000 Blk SE Abshier Blvd – A records check on a license plate revealed the registered owner had an expired license. Sgt. conducted a traffic stop and requested the driver, Jose Acosta (H/M 03/17/1986), provide his license. Acosta admitted his license was not valid. A records check revealed several active suspensions, including a revocation for DUI. Acosta was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail without incident.

6666 SE 110th St (Opus Bar and Billiards) – Gabriella Tumi (H/F 02/17/1994) was issued a trespass warning by the bar staff.

10366 S US Hwy 441 Lot 1 (Silver Oaks MHP) – Officers responded to an alleged home burglary, which was determined to be a civil matter.

4900 SE 102nd Pl Lot 74 (Golden Oaks MHP) – An adult male was placed under a Baker Act.
No Valid Driver’s License (Case No. 09-0248)
5400 Blk SE Abshier Blvd – An officer conducted a records check on a vehicle’s license plate and discovered the registered owner, Arnulfo D. Chilel Mazariegos (H/M 08/24/1967), did not have a valid Florida driver’s license. Following a traffic stop, Arnulfo confirmed he had no license and presented a Guatemalan passport. He was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail without incident.
Battery (Case No. 09-0250)
10700 Blk S US Hwy 441 (Belleview Square Plaza) – Brittany McDougal (W/F 02/12/1994) alleged that a white male pushed her and struck her in the face. Case pending active.
