Dear Editor,
I don’t know what happened to Belleview, but it sure ain’t the small town I remember! The traffic on 441 has gotten out of control. It’s dangerous just to leave the house anymore. I feel like I’m living in Orlando with all these cars flying by. That’s not even to mention the methed out maniacs using those silly bicycle lanes. I didn’t move here for this!
And don’t even get me started on that mess at 467 and 110th Street. That intersection needs a traffic light before someone really gets hurt. It’s like people have no idea how to use four-way stops anymore.
And what about that 484 fiasco that gets worse by the day. With all those houses going up by the library, it’s only gonna get worse. There’s already too many busy spots around there – just accidents waiting to happen. They are going to expect kids to wait out there for a bus stop in the morning? Insanity.
I miss the days when Belleview was peaceful. Now it feels like we’re living in the middle of a big city. Something’s gotta give!
