Calvin Hagins, a Summerfield native with deep local roots and a distinguished federal career, has been elected to serve as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation. His two-year term will run from January 2026 through January 2028.
Hagins, a philanthropist and longtime federal executive, said his election represents a meaningful commitment to both service and mentorship. “This is a major commitment of my time and energy to a Brotherhood and a cause that develops and prepares students for success in a complex and dynamic business marketplace,” Hagins said. “I look forward to contributing and gaining support from the business community.”
As a Leadership Foundation Trustee, Hagins will help generate financial leadership and provide support for Delta Sigma Pi’s educational and charitable programs. Delta Sigma Pi is the nation’s largest co-ed professional business fraternity, focused on preparing students for successful careers in business through leadership development, networking and professional events.
A Summerfield native, Hagins brings nearly 40 years of experience in federal supervision within the financial services industry. He is widely recognized as one of the country’s foremost experts in federal supervisory matters, having provided technical content for trade publications, delivered Congressional testimony and spoken at industry conferences and on nationally syndicated radio programs.
Hagins currently serves as Principal Deputy at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he is the subject matter expert on the Bureau’s supervision program and leads its largest division, overseeing nearly 400 compliance professionals.
He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in finance and is a brother of the Theta Phi chapter of Delta Sigma Pi.
