Over 10,000 people attended the Trunk or Treat event at Lake Lillian on Robinson Road in Belleview on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Of those attendees, approximately 6,000 were children.
The event offered plenty for families, especially the kids. There were hay rides, inflatables, a Zombie Fest Haunted Maze, six food trucks, a DJ, pumpkin painting, games, and safe, fun trick-or-treating with 54 participating Trunk or Treat locations covering the entire area around Lake Lillian. And of course, there was candy—lots of candy!
Hosted by the City of Belleview, this ghoulishly fun evening began at 4:00 PM and continued until 7:00 PM. The Trunk or Treat event was powered by Gary Yeomans Ford. Additional sponsors included Peek’s Printing and Design by FIXIT Tek, Bradley Blessing-State Farm Insurance, Belleview Mi Pueblo Flea Market, Terry Harris Insurance, Ms. Steve’s Dairy D-Lite, Mid Florida Credit Union, Rent-a-Center, the Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club, and the Ocala/Fort King Lions Club.

Hosts of Belleview’s Trunk or Treat, the City of Belleview, came prepared for a crowd. The City of Belleview expected approximately 4,000 children and 10,000 people at this event held annually at Lake Lillian. Here, Letty See, Andrea Greene and Mariah Moody hand candy to the excited children.
