On 10/25/2024 at 2:30 pm, Vin Mar Motel, 5018 SE Abshier Blvd, Room 6 – Officer Rodriguez arrested Eric Hart for active warrants from Marion and Sumter County, including drug possession and false imprisonment.
Civil
On 10/25/2024 at approximately 5:00 pm, SE 106th St and S US Hwy 441 – A subject caused approximately $5,000 in damage to the entrance gate to Cobblestone. Virgil Whitecotton later arranged with George Arvantis to pay for the damages after admitting he struck the gate with his vehicle.
Possession of Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia
On 10/25/2024 at 8:20 pm, 10377 S US Hwy 441 – Officer Hunt located Hope Wright (DOB 4/28/1987) and Garrett Thalgott (DOB 11/2/1988) with heroin and drug paraphernalia. Corporal Harrington and Officer Soto placed both under arrest.

On 10/26/2024 at approximately 11:16 am, SE Abshier Blvd/SE 110th St – Officer Brown issued Christine Gourley (DOB 3/16/1958) a criminal citation for driving with an expired license (more than 6 months) subsequent to a traffic stop.

On 10/26/2024 at 2:23 pm, 10386 SE 52nd Ct – Shelbie Martel and Randall Martel were issued trespass warnings after a disturbance involving a handgun.

On 10/26/2024 at 4:00 pm, 4900 SE 102nd Pl, Lot 41 – Officer Eckert arrested Michael Combs (DOB 11/24/1969) for violating a domestic violence injunction.

On 10/26/2024, between 8:30 pm and 12:30 am, SE 54th Ave, Belleview, FL – An unknown person committed burglary and petit theft by entering a vehicle and stealing a purse valued at $150.
Missing Person – Runaway
On 10/26/2024 at 7:37 pm, Hands of Mercy Everywhere, 6017 SE Robinson Rd – Two juveniles were reported as missing runaways from the “trunk or treat” event at Lake Lillian. They were located by Ocala Police Department on 10/29/2024.

On 10/27/2024 at 1:00 am, 10100 Block S US Hwy 441 – Corporal Harrington and Officer Soto arrested Danny Anzardo (DOB 3/9/1979) for an active Marion County warrant for petit theft.

On 10/27/2024 at 3:34 pm, SE Hwy 484/SE 132nd St Rd – Officer Eckert issued Victoriano Ramos Saucedo (DOB 2/25/1993) a criminal citation for driving without a valid license following a traffic crash.
Trespass Occupied Structure After Warning
On 10/27/2024 at 10:20 pm, Rock N Wash II, 10477 S US Hwy 441 – Jose Adames (DOB 2/17/1971) was arrested for trespassing in an occupied structure after a warning.

On 10/28/2024, an unknown person committed fraud and grand theft by having the victim withdraw a total of $95,000 in Bitcoin, which was sent to an account where the money was immediately removed.
Hit and Run
On 10/28/2024 at approximately 6:00 am, at Kwik King, 10251 US-441 – An unknown white or Hispanic male driving an older model white Chevrolet drove through concrete bollards protecting propane tanks, valued at $1,000. The driver fled, and the investigation is ongoing.
Grand Theft, Burglary
On 10/28/2024, at Northwood Apartments, 10431 SE 49th Ct – An unknown person committed burglary and grand theft by stealing four white Mercedes-Benz rims and tires stored next to the front door in a fenced area on the victim’s property.

On 10/29/2024 at approximately 8:44 am, at the intersection of SE Hwy 301 and SE Babb Rd – Victor A. Westman (DOB 9/14/1955) committed the offense of driving while license revoked (2nd or subsequent conviction) and was issued a criminal citation.

On 11/01/2024 at Belleview Square Shopping Center, 10737 S US Hwy 441 – Brian D. Baker (DOB 1/16/1984) committed trespass after warning, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia during a security check.

On 11/01/2024 at approximately 9:12 am, 11026 SE 56th Ave – Laura E. Franklin (DOB 1/28/1968) committed culpable negligence by shooting the victim while attempting to remove a gun lock from a firearm.

On 11/01/2024 at approximately 10:50 pm, at Opus Bar, 6666 SE 110th St – Robert N. Abruzzino (DOB 9/12/1996) was arrested by Officer Eaglen for battery following a physical altercation. Multiple subjects were issued trespass warnings.

On 11/02/2024 at approximately 12:18 pm, 6200 Block SE Abshier Blvd – Curtis R. Crosby (DOB 10/01/1992) committed the offense of driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked and was issued a criminal citation.
MVC Fatality
On 11/02/2024 at approximately 9:30 pm, 11900 Block US-441 – Multiple officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a bicyclist. The driver was not found at fault, and the bicyclist was pronounced deceased on 11/03/2024 at ORMC.
Baker Act
On 11/03/2024 – A Hispanic male subject was placed under a Baker Act after attempting self-harm by ingesting pills and lacerating his wrist with a razor. The subject was transported to ORMC by MCFR.
