Lights, Camera, Action: the Magic Continues at Lake Lillian
The official start of the holiday season here in Belleview would not be complete without the Annual Light Up Lake Lillian on Southeast Robinson Road. On Saturday, December 7, the community came together to celebrate this magical tradition hosted by the City of Belleview. At precisely 6 PM, the lights illuminated the night sky after an exciting countdown. Powered by Gary Yeomans Ford Villages, this free event had something for everyone.
Children were thrilled to meet Santa himself, and families had the chance to get a free photo with him. Additional photo opportunities were also available throughout the event. The Church on the Hill delighted guests with a Cookie Decorating Station, providing everything needed to create festive and delicious treats. Kids also enjoyed the Ornament Making Station, sponsored by the Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club of Lady Lake, where they could craft a keepsake to take home.

Church on the Hill, located on 441 in Belleview, brought over 700 cookies of all shapes and flavors to Light Up Lake Lillian on Saturday, December 7, for the kids, or adults to decorate. From left, Logan and Hailey Taylor, Melody and Jade Hamilton and Brielle and Emrys Rosario decorate their cookies that soon vanished.

Santa wishes Lillian and her Mom, Imani, a Merry Christmas, and places his hand on the newest addition, that will arrive soon to the Grabe family.

Brianna Palmer and her son, Xavier pose for and adorable picture together as Smile Time’s owner and photographer, Felicia Gomez snaps the sweet photo.
