Marion County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in the Rainbow Lakes Estate subdivision.
Deputies responded to the 1200 block of S.W. Shorewood Drive at approximately 3:00 a.m. on December 14, 2024, after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult white male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
According to the MCSO, all parties involved in the incident have been accounted for and are currently being interviewed as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
