Belleview Man Slaps Girlfriend, Slams Doors on Deputies in Drunken Outburst

Belleview Man Arrested After Slapping Girlfriend, Resisting Deputies

A Belleview man, Alex Alfredo Tuch-Villeda, was arrested on February 9, 2025, after an altercation with his girlfriend escalated into a series of charges, including simple domestic battery, tampering with a victim, and resisting arrest without violence.

According to deputies, the incident began when Tuch-Villeda became upset over his father not answering phone calls. After repeatedly slamming his cell phone on the ground, Tuch-Villeda’s girlfriend took the phone to prevent further damage, only to find herself facing his wrath later. The defendant, reportedly intoxicated, became belligerent and aggressive, banging on their bedroom door and demanding the return of his phone. When Martinez attempted to de-escalate the situation by informing him she had called law enforcement, Tuch-Villeda responded by slapping her across the face, leaving a visible red mark.

As deputies arrived at the scene, Tuch-Villeda was initially found seated on the back porch. Upon being asked to step outside, he retreated into the residence, shutting the front door on deputies. A brief struggle ensued, with deputies managing to open the door and detain Tuch-Villeda.

Tuch-Villeda’s frustration didn’t end there. After being placed in a patrol car, he attempted to block the door by putting his foot between it and the frame, making it difficult for deputies to close the vehicle. Despite his defiant attitude, Tuch-Villeda eventually complied with orders, though he continued to deny the allegations, insisting Martinez was lying.

The defendant was later transported to the Marion County Jail after receiving medical attention at the Belleview ER for an unrelated incident.
