Belleview Elementary Puts the ‘Art’ in Party

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, Belleview Elementary School, located at 5556 SE Hwy 484 in Belleview, hosted its 1st Annual “Night of the Arts.”

The innovative event was the brainchild of Family Engagement Liaison Tiffany Alexander, who has a knack for organizing fun and educational experiences for the lucky students and families at BES. “Night of the Arts” celebrated the arts programs at the school, beginning with a musical performance by the BES Chorus, The Belletones, who did an outstanding job performing several songs.

Following the performance, a large group of approximately 100 students participated in a “Painting With a Twist”-style activity that paid tribute to the visual arts. While the children created unique and imaginative paintings, parents had the opportunity to take part in a silent auction. They enjoyed browsing and bidding on 33 themed baskets and five additional items.

The arts-filled evening began at 5:00 p.m. and continued until 6:30 p.m. The Mobile Learning Unit was parked outside, showcasing the many resources it offers to families.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the school.
