Marion County Public Schools is preparing to graduate nearly 3,000 high school seniors this May, with ceremonies scheduled across multiple venues and dates. Each high school will hold a baccalaureate service in the days leading up to graduation, honoring students for their academic achievements and spiritual growth.
Belleview High School kicks off the celebrations with its baccalaureate on Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m. at Wings of Faith Fellowship Church. Graduation follows on Saturday, May 24, at 8 a.m. at the BHS Stadium.
Dunnellon High will host its baccalaureate on May 22 at River Life Church, followed by graduation on Saturday, May 31, at 6 p.m. at the Ocala World Equestrian Center, where Forest High will also hold its graduation on Friday, May 30.
Hillcrest School will recognize its graduating students with a ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, at 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest Gymnasium.
Lake Weir High, North Marion High, and Vanguard High will each hold baccalaureates on Tuesday, May 27, with graduation ceremonies scheduled from May 28 through May 30 at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion.
West Port High School will host its baccalaureate on May 28 in its Performing Arts Center, followed by a graduation ceremony on May 31 at 8 a.m. at the Ocala World Equestrian Center.
Marion Technical College will celebrate its graduates on Thursday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ocala. A final summer graduation for MCPS students is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, at 6 p.m. at the Marion Technical Institute Auditorium.
The district encourages friends, family, and community members to join in recognizing the Class of 2025 for their hard work and accomplishments.
