
The City of Belleview hosted its annual Trunk or Treat around Lake Lillian on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The line for treats and goodies formed a full circle around the lake. The popular family event reached an all-time high in attendance, with everyone having a frightfully good time.
It’s estimated that between 6,000 and 7,000 children came to haunt Lake Lillian. Including parents and family members, total attendance exceeded 11,000 people. Sixty-five businesses, churches, and community organizations made the evening spooky, magical, and exciting—ensuring every little goblin went home with plenty of treats. The event offered free, safe trick-or-treating; dozens of decorated trunks with candy; a haunted hayride; a live DJ playing crowd favorites; food trucks; and foam pumpkin decorating.
It was a boo-tiful night for dressing up in costume and enjoying all the fun at the City of Belleview’s Trunk or Treat. A screaming thank-you goes out to all the sponsors. The event was powered by Gary Yeomans Ford Ocala/Villages, with additional support from Peek’s Printing & Design, Graphicten, Fixit Tek, Doc’s Restorations, FreeUp Storage Belleview, the Lions Club of Orange Blossom Gardens/Lady Lake, the Fort King Lions Breakfast Club, Ace Hardware Belleview, McKenney Chiropractic, Mid-Florida Credit Union, and Gregg Smith Automotive.
