On 11/17/2025 at approximately 09:03 hrs at Phoenix Fitness (10451 S US Hwy 441), defendant Travis Thorpe (W/M 05/19/1977) committed the offense of simple battery by shoving an adult male victim in the chest with two open hands during an argument inside the gym.
Fail to Redeliver Hired Vehicle
On 11/03/2025 at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 10831 S US Hwy 441, Belleview, FL, Peggy Olson (W/F 06/29/1957) committed the offense of failing to redeliver a hired vehicle by not returning a white Chevrolet Equinox, Florida tag 67AXPC. Olson was later located and arrested, and the vehicle was recovered.
No Valid Driver’s License
On 11/17/2025 in the 5800 block of SE Abshier Blvd, Rocael E. Chavez Chavez (H/M 07/17/2000) was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license.

On 11/18/2025 at approximately 3:12 a.m. in the 12800 block of S US Highway 441, William Peirano (H/M 11/03/1986) was placed under arrest for possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, and an active felony warrant for organized fraud and petit theft.

Between 11/17/2025 and 11/18/2025 at 5086 SE 102nd Place, Belleview, FL, an unknown person committed the offense of criminal mischief by causing approximately $750 in damage to a blue Chevrolet pickup.
Unauthorized Use of Vehicle
On 11/18/2025 at approximately 09:35 hrs at Lake View Apartments (5828 SE Robinson Rd), complainant Carol Monteiro (W/F 11/10/1941) reported the unauthorized use of her vehicle after loaning it to Christopher Romanenko (W/M 04/26/1977) for personal use on 11/16/2025 and it not being returned.

On 11/18/2025 at approximately 7:26 p.m. at 10775 S US Hwy 441, Dollar General, Elijah Rader (W/M 02/04/2004) committed the offense of battery by spraying the victim with pepper spray during a verbal argument. Pending victim corporation.

On 11/19/2025 at SE 112th Street, Kelvin Jefferson (B/M 12/30/1991) committed the offense of domestic battery by strangulation against his girlfriend by striking her in the face and choking her. Case still active.

Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling, Possession of Methamphetamine, Petit Theft, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Mischief
On 11/22/2025 at SE Babb Rd, officers responded to a reported burglary in progress and located the subject, later identified as William Smith (W/M 07/22/1988), in the fenced back yard. He was taken into custody without incident. Smith was wearing gloves, carrying a small bat/flashlight, and had brass knuckles in his pocket. A witness reported seeing Smith taking items from the back yard and trash and placing them in his vehicle before forcing his way into the home through a window. Officers observed damage to the front door and window. Smith denied entering the home and said he was looking for a place to rent. Cpl. Harrington placed Smith under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail. An inventory search of Smith’s vehicle yielded suspected methamphetamine, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, a THC vape pen, and personal items belonging to Smith. The suspected methamphetamine field-tested positive. Case closed by arrest.

On 11/22/2025 at 5408 SE Abshier Blvd (Wild City Smoke Shop), Arron Wynn (W/M 01/11/1981) was issued a trespass warning by management.
No Valid Driver’s License
On 11/22/2025 in the 5800 block of SE Abshier Blvd, Ofc. Driggers conducted a records check on the license plate of a blue Chrysler 200 and found the registered owner, Aaron Quezada Rada (H/M 09/05/1999), had an identification card only. Ofc. Driggers conducted a traffic stop and confirmed the driver was the owner. Quezada Rada was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail.
Indecent Exposure
On 11/23/2025 at 10301 S US Hwy 441 (Publix), a male allegedly committed the listed offense by exposing his genitals to a customer. Case pending active.
Trespass Occupied Structure After Warning
On 11/23/2025 at 11528 S US Hwy 301 (St. Theresa’s Catholic Church), Cpl. Harrington was working an overtime detail when he was approached by Father Tom regarding a woman, Jordan Torres (W/F 01/05/1993), who was refusing to leave. Father Tom trespassed Torres in front of Cpl. Harrington. Cpl. Harrington instructed Torres to leave several times, and she refused. He detained her and requested an on-duty officer. Pfc. Tyler arrived, placed Torres under arrest, and transported her to the Marion County Jail.

On 11/24/2025 at 5305 SE Abshier Blvd (Racetrac), Marcia Taylor (B/F 05/06/1969) was issued a trespass warning by management after stealing multiple items..
