New Year, New Bites as Friday Foodie Fest Returns

The first Friday Foodie Fest of 2026 is set to kick off the new year with a full evening of family-friendly fun at Lake Lillian.

The event takes place Friday, January 16, from 5 to 9 p.m., bringing together returning crowd favorites and several new food trucks making their Foodie Fest debut. New vendors joining the lineup include Death by Hummicide, Riccardo’s Food Truck, and IQ225 BBQ.

Food remains the centerpiece of the evening, with a long list of trucks expected to line the park, including Fat Tiki, Backstage Grill and Concessions, Fatboyz Donutz, Poppin’ and Shakin’, Kona Ice Ocala, ROYAL Hibachi, Brick & Ember Florida, CountryBoyz BBQ, Sodee, Moustache Ice Cream, Billy’s Cheesesteaks, Chococup, and more.

A live DJ will provide music throughout the evening, while younger attendees can take advantage of free inflatable activities and face painting, making the event accessible for families of all ages.

Attendees are also invited to visit the Development Services tent, where staff will be available to answer questions related to permits, licensing, and other city services. The January Foodie Fest is sponsored by FreeUp Storage Belleview and Graphicten. Organizers say the goal remains the same for 2026: good food, strong local support, and a relaxed night at the lake that brings the community together..
