Police

BATTERY

On 05/14/2024 at approximately 9:45 PM at the 6000 block of Robinson Rd, investigation revealed that a white female juvenile committed the offense of battery against a white male juvenile.

EXPOSURE OF SEXUAL ORGANS

On 05/14/2024 at approximately 07:59 AM at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd (Wawa), David Pulce (B/M 10/01/1966) was placed under arrest for exposure of sexual organs after he urinated on the exterior of the building.

BATTERY UNFOUNDED

On 05/14/2024 at approximately 08:15 AM, Olivia Daniel [W/F DOB:09/01/1977] and Kaitlyn Krever [W/F DOB:12/13/2003] were involved in an altercation at Krever’s residence at 11554 SE 58th Ave. Both parties alleged they were battered by the other; however, there is no corroborating evidence to support either party’s claim at this time.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

On 5/15/2024 at approximately 1:09 PM, Barbara Ann Pullman [W/F DOB:04/19/1989] was placed under arrest for violation of §784.021[1][A] aggravated assault after threatening the victim with a knife while at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd (Wawa).

SIMPLE DOMESTIC BATTERY

On 5/15/2024 at 5726 SE Abshier Blvd (Wawa), Pfc. Eckert and Sgt. Esquivel responded to the location for a third-party report of a physical disturbance in progress. Pfc. Eckert located the victim leaving the scene, and she advised her boyfriend, Michael Deeter (W/M 8/31/72), had grabbed her by the throat during an argument, so she punched and kicked him. Sgt. Esquivel reviewed the surveillance footage and observed the incident had occurred as the victim described. Pfc. Eckert placed Deeter under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail. Case closed by arrest.

PETIT THEFT

On 5/16/2024, at the 10500 block of 50th Ave, the victim reported her license plate decal sticker had been stolen. Case pending active.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 5/16/2024 at 6157 SE Baseline Rd (Baseline Grab ‘n Go), Jason Meahl (W/M 8/29/70) alleged that an unidentified male intentionally caused damage to his vehicle after a road rage altercation. Meahl declined to press charges, so this case has been closed.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

On 5/16/2024 at the 5900 block of SE Abshier Blvd, Sgt. Esquivel observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and improperly passing a slower-moving vehicle on a double yellow line. Sgt. Esquivel conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, Tyler Smith (W/M 10/14/1995), at which time she observed indicators of impairment. Smith agreed to perform field sobriety exercises and was subsequently placed under arrest. Smith was transported to the Marion County Jail, where he provided a breath sample of 0.164 and 0.166 – twice the legal limit. Case closed by arrest.

BAKER ACT

On 5/17/2024 at approximately 09:00 AM at SE 109th Pl, a Hispanic male was placed under a Baker Act after screaming and catching “ghosts” who were not present. Witnesses also stated the Hispanic male is known to wield a machete while doing so. The Hispanic male was transported to the Vines Hospital without incident.

TRESPASS WARNING

On 5/17/2024 at approximately 11:20 PM at 5305 SE Abshier Blvd (RaceTrac), David J Pulce (B/M 10/01/1966) was issued a trespass warning after being asked to leave by management.

SIMPLE DOMESTIC BATTERY

On 5/17/2024 at the 5800 block of Robinson Rd, Ofc. Eckert responded to the location for a physical disturbance. The suspect, Lloyd Weidenhammer (W/M 10/16/1965), stated it was only a verbal argument and hadn’t become physical. The victim stated Weidenhammer had shoved her in the face, hurting her eye. Pfc. Eckert observed injuries consistent with the victim’s statement. Pfc. Eckert placed Weidenhammer under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail. Case closed by arrest.

PETIT THEFT

On 5/17/2024 between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, an unknown individual removed a lime green bicycle belonging to the victim from in front of 10301 US-441 (Publix) while the victim was inside the store shopping. The bicycle was not secured with a bike lock at the time of the theft. This investigation is still ongoing.

TRESPASS WARNING

On 05/18/2024 at approximately 12:29 AM at 10825 S US Hwy 441 (Spin City Laundry), Jeufonda J Tetter (B/M 04/18/1984) and Stacy M Wise (W/F 06/02/1980) were issued a trespass warning from the location at the request of Spin City security authorized by an open trespass.

TRESPASS WARNING

On 05/18/2024 at 5198 SE Abshier Blvd, Belleview, FL 34420 (Circle K), David J Pulce (B/M 10/01/1966) was issued a trespass warning per employee Christopher Koeing authorized by an open trespass.

TRESPASS WARNING

On 5/18/2024 at approximately 5:16 PM, Tommy Carter (W/M DOB: 09/27/1986) was issued a permanent trespass from 10410 US-441 (Wendy’s) at the behest of the on-duty manager.

RECOVERED PROPERTY

On 05/18/2024 at approximately 8:31 PM at 5634 SE 113th St, while conducting a suspicious vehicle investigation, an LL Bean Mastercard was recovered and placed into Belleview Property for safekeeping.

MARCHMAN ACT

On 05/18/2024 at approximately 8:50 PM at SE 107th Pl, an adult female was placed under a Marchman Act after being found passed out with injuries.

BAKER ACT

On 5/19/2024 at 6017 SE Robinson Road, a juvenile female was placed under a Baker Act due to her expressing suicidal ideations.
