Love Gone Wrong: Domestic Dispute Ends with Husband’s Arrest (Again)

Third Time’s Not the Charm: Marion County Man Lands in Jail Again After Domestic Altercation

In a scene straight out of a daytime drama, Marion County deputies found themselves playing referee in yet another domestic dispute gone awry. On the morning of August 13th, the Sheriff’s Office responded to what began as a simple verbal altercation but quickly escalated into a classic case of “he said, she said” with a whole lot of “he did” mixed in.

The alleged perpetrator, Kevin Hermann, is no stranger to trouble, boasting not one but two prior battery convictions—because apparently, third time’s the charm? Unfortunately for Hermann, his luck ran out when deputies were called to his residence after he reportedly “put hands” on his wife, Ashley Wojcik, during a spat about her refusal to join him at work. The argument, which started on August 12th, snowballed when Hermann allegedly grabbed Wojcik by the shoulders, the neck, and even her ponytail, turning their home into the set of an impromptu wrestling match.

After a night to cool off, Hermann decided to give it another go the next morning, showing up at the house to gather his belongings—though, according to Wojcik, he seemed more interested in keeping her inside than getting his stuff out. Hermann’s attempt to play warden backfired when Wojcik made a break for it as soon as she heard the shower turn on.

The saga didn’t end there. Hermann was later spotted with Wojcik in a Circle K parking lot—because nothing says reconciliation like a gas station reunion. Despite Hermann’s claims that she’d asked to be picked up, deputies weren’t buying it. After some post-Miranda chit-chat, Hermann was cuffed and chauffeured to the Marion County Jail, making his third battery charge the new “three strikes” of their domestic drama.

As for Wojcik, she left no room for interpretation in her written narrative, describing Hermann as a “very violent man” and making it crystal clear that she no longer feels safe around him.
