Summary: Sgt. Esquivel responded to the location for a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival, she spoke with Michael Gibson, who denied calling 911 but asked for assistance in locating his phone. While searching, Gibson picked up a baggie that obviously contained methamphetamine and tried to conceal it. Sgt. Esquivel detained Gibson in handcuffs, and he spontaneously stated that he also had a meth pipe with meth in it in his pants pocket. Sgt. Esquivel located the pipe and a prescription bottle (with the label worn off) containing alprazolam. The suspected methamphetamine field-tested positive. Sgt. Esquivel transported Gibson to the Marion County Jail. Case closed by arrest.

Summary: Cpl. Harrington observed a truck run a red light and nearly cause a traffic accident. After stopping the vehicle, Cpl. Harrington discovered the driver, Luis Saucedo Solis (H/M 2/5/1998), had never been issued a driver’s license. Cpl. Harrington also discovered that he had arrested Saucedo Solis in November of 2023 for the same offense. Cpl. Harrington placed Saucedo Solis under arrest and transported him to the Marion County Jail.
