Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 13th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocala Downtown Market, because the Senior Resource Foundation of Ocala is throwing the ultimate dog-lover’s bash — the 4th Annual Bark in the Park: A Doggy Expo! And yes, admission is FREE!
What’s in store? Over 25 unique vendors, food trucks slinging tasty treats, adoptable pups looking for their forever homes, and the show-stopping, tail-wagging Dog Costume Contest at 3 PM. Think your pooch has what it takes? Dress them up and go for the gold—prizes and bragging rights await the best-dressed pups and their humans!
All proceeds from this paw-some event will support Marion Senior Services and Marion County Animal Services. Last year, with the help of our community, we raised $20,000. This year, we’re aiming to fetch even more to make an even bigger impact on seniors and pets alike.
