Belleview Elementary Brings Sleigh-Size Cheer to Local Families

Belleview Elementary staff and their community partners played Santa this season, spreading holiday magic to 20 local families. Through a spirited Facebook fundraiser and support from Everyday Church, Gregg Smith Automotive, Girlfriends of the Villages, and The Fun Dept., they made sure no stocking was left unfilled.

Ten lucky families took part in the festive “Shopping with the Broncos” event at the Silver Springs Shores Walmart. Manager Jimmy Evans and his team transformed the store into a holiday wonderland, complete with Santa at the checkout, balloon-adorned carts, and goodie bags brimming with treats. With the help of school staff and community volunteers, children got to pick out their dream gifts while parents got a rare chance to relax and savor the moment.

Meanwhile, Gregg Smith Automotive made the season brighter for another 10 families by placing them on their Angel Tree, ensuring a personalized touch to their holiday cheer. From decked-out shopping carts to heartwarming community spirit, Belleview Elementary proved that it takes a village (or in this case, a Broncos-sized team),to make Christmas magical.
