On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Asphalt Misfits Car Club of North Central Florida gathered to showcase their hot rods to local car enthusiasts. The car show began at 10:00 AM and concluded at 2:00 PM, held at the Orange Blossom Hills Community Center in Summerfield.
Despite the crisp, cold morning, the weather didn’t deter locals from attending. The Asphalt Misfits Car Club of North Central Florida is one of three chapters across the state and hosts this event on the second Saturday of each month.
This monthly show is hosted by Taylor Made Classic Cars and Truck Show. The next show will be held on March 8th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Be sure to make a pit stop at Rev Your Engine Café, conveniently located inside the community center. The café serves fresh, homemade breakfast and lunch during every car show held there. The menu changes monthly, and all meals are made to order, reasonably priced, and delicious.

This 1975 Chevy van was purchased by the current owner’s parents in 1979. Pictured is Joe Van, whose parents gifted him the van on his 16th birthday in 1983. Joe completed all the custom interior work himself, transforming *Stow-A-Way* into a one-of-a-kind ride, including unique interior windows that allow passengers to view the engine from inside the van. Joe and his pride and joy were on display at the Orange Blossom Hills Community Center in Summerfield on Saturday, January 11, 2025, for the Asphalt Misfits’ monthly car show.
