On January 7, 2025, at approximately 4:42 AM at 10742 SE 55th Ct, Belleview, FL, Mell Lee Breckon, a white male born on January 10, 1976, committed the offense of grand theft of a motor vehicle and driving while his license was suspended or revoked by taking a black Jeep Cherokee bearing Florida tag JR86I from the victim without permission. Breckon operated the motor vehicle while his license was suspended or revoked. At 12:20 AM on January 8, 2025, Breckon was apprehended by Belleview Police Department officers and transported to the Marion County Jail.
