On Monday, January 13, 2025, Belleview High School introduced its new Head Football Coach, Robert “Boe” Hartwell, at 6:00 PM in the Media Room at BHS.
The school approached this decision with careful consideration, taking the time necessary to select the right candidate.
Coach Hartwell, who has a military background, previously served as a PE teacher and football coach at Wildwood High School. During the introduction, he shared his goals and vision for the team, stating, “We are a family, we will hold each other to higher standards, we will work hard.”
The new Head Coach also introduced his Assistant Coaches, highlighting the unique strengths each brings to the program.
The Rattlers’ first game of the season, Spring Football, will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Mount Dora Christian Academy, located at 301 West 13th Avenue in Mount Dora. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM.
Belleview High School also showed its appreciation for four Assistant Football Coaches who stepped up last season. Coaches Tracy Curry, Ben Jones, Ray Fillmore, and London Bufford were honored for their dedication and efforts.
