Three women turned Dick’s Sporting Goods into their own “getaway arena” on Jan. 19, when they attempted to make off with over $1,000 in merchandise. But this wasn’t your average shoplifting spree. When confronted, one of the suspects allegedly battered a 71-year-old employee who tried to intervene.
The trio fled the scene in a white sedan—believed to be a Hyundai Sonata—last spotted heading north on I-75, leaving behind shaken employees and unanswered questions.
