Ocala police are looking for a woman who, according to authorities, treated a baby stroller like a shopping cart during a trip to Best Buy.
On Jan. 27, the woman entered the Best Buy on SW 27th Ave., allegedly stashed about $800 worth of merchandise in a stroller—alongside an actual child—and strolled right out without paying.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Detective Barker can be reached at 352-369-7000, and anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP or online at OcalaCrimeStoppers.com. A reward of up to $3,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
