Sara Is Missing – Investigators Urge Anyone With Info to Come Forward

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman last seen leaving a Reddick residence with a man in the early hours of March 3, 2023.

Sara was last known to be at a home at 18080 North U.S. Highway 441 in Reddick, where she had spent part of the night with James Robinson, who lived in one section of the subdivided residence, and James Schaller and Teesha McDermitt, a couple residing in the other half.

At 1:24 a.m., Robinson began texting a man identified as Morman, mentioning that Sara was at his home. During their conversation, Morman asked if she would be interested in spending time with him and requested to come over. Robinson agreed, and Morman arrived in a blue 2017 Hyundai Sonata. Around 4:00 a.m., Morman left the residence with Sara.

Detectives later determined that Morman and Sara were spotted at a 24-hour convenience store in northwest Marion County in the early morning hours of March 3. Morman has since declined to speak with investigators and remains a person of interest in her disappearance.

Authorities believe someone may have information that could help determine what happened next.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Ryan Stith at (352) 368-3542 or the Marion County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at (352) 732-9111. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Marion County at (352) 368-STOP (7867), referencing case number 23-71.
