March 3, 2025 

Baker Act – 03-034 

At approximately 7:09 PM, a juvenile male was placed under a Baker Act after showing signs of suicidal and homicidal ideations. 

March 4, 2025 

Lost Property – 03-053 

At approximately 3:36 PM, at 5520 SE 110th St, Julio Delacruz (H/M, 04/15/1973) reported losing his wallet but was unsure of where it was lost. 

Warrant Arrest – 03-049 

At approximately 3:25 PM, at 4900 SE 102nd Pl, Lot 28, Golden Oaks Mobile Home Park, Tyler Geist (W/M, 01/14/1986) was arrested on an active felony arrest warrant and transported to the Marion County Jail. 

Domestic Battery – 03-059 

At approximately 6:42 PM, Melissa Aguilar-Butz (H/F, 12/21/1994) committed the offense of domestic battery by touching the victim without permission. 

Baker Act – 03-060 

At Hands of Mercy (6017 SE Robinson Rd), a juvenile female was transported to Advent Health Ocala under a Baker Act after committing acts of self-harm. 

Loitering/Trespass After Warning – 03-061 

At approximately 8:15 PM, Brian Whitmire (W/M, 12/20/1987) was found stripping copper wire at Belleview Regional Plaza (10301 US-441). After refusing to leave following a trespass warning, he resisted arrest and was charged with loitering and prowling, trespassing after warning, and resisting without violence. 

March 5, 2025 

Trespass Warning – 03-064 

At 2:52 AM, at Wawa (5726 SE Abshier Blvd), Paige N. Wingate (W/F, 10/06/1994) was issued a trespass warning by management after causing a disturbance inside the establishment. 

Suspicious Incident – 2025030065 

At Family Dollar (5810 SE Abshier Blvd), Zachary Grolemund (W/M, 09/21/1989) allegedly stole merchandise. However, management was unable to verify any missing items at the time of the report. 

Retail Petit Theft (3rd Offense) – 2025030072 

At Family Dollar (5810 SE Abshier Blvd), Nicholas Land (W/M, 02/11/2001) committed the offense of retail theft (third or subsequent offense) by stealing two T-shirts valued at $10. 

Trespass Warning – 2025030068 

At 4441 SE 102nd Pl, Robert Taylor (W/M, 11/05/1959), Cynthia Montana (W/F, 11/11/1977), and Ivan Galan (W/M, 02/15/1979) were issued a trespass warning at the property owner’s request. 

March 6, 2025 

Violation of Condition of Pretrial Release – 2025030082 

At SE 105th Pl, Melissa Aguilar-Butz (H/F, 12/21/1994) violated an injunction for protection by having a third party contact the victim on her behalf. 

Battery/Trespass Warning – 2025030084 

At Belleview Sports Complex (6501 SE 107th St), Jovani L. Lopez (H/M, 01/27/2005) committed battery by striking the victim in the face with his fist. Lopez was issued a trespass warning from the sports complex. 

March 7, 2025 

Battery – 2025030081 

At 8:50 PM, at Hands of Mercy (6017 SE Robinson Rd), a female juvenile allegedly committed battery against the victim by pushing her and smashing her hand in a door. 

Retail Theft, Drugs – 03-0087 

Officers Tyler and Rodriguez responded to ACE Hardware regarding a white male, later identified as Nicholas Land, who stole a bicycle chain, exited the store, and discarded the item by throwing it at an employee. Officers located Land at the entrance to Belleview Commons Plaza off SE 102nd Pl, where he was arrested for retail petit theft (third offense) and transported to MCJ by Officer Tyler. While at the jail, methamphetamine was discovered in Land’s possession. He was subsequently charged with possession of methamphetamine, introduction of contraband into a detention facility, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Warrant Arrest – 03-0092 

Officer Tyler responded to 11585 SE 59th Ave, Apt #6, and assisted MCSO K9 deputies in locating and arresting Thomas M. Davis Jr. (B/M, 11/06/1987), who had an active arrest warrant out of Michigan for violation of probation. 

DWLSR – 03-0093 

Corporal Eaglen conducted a traffic stop in the 4800 block of SE 102nd Pl, following a call for service in the Publix parking lot. Officers had previously made contact with the driver, Hiladino Luis Gonzalez (H/M, 04/09/1993), regarding a disturbance. A records check later revealed that Gonzalez did not have a valid driver’s license. He was issued a criminal traffic citation for DWLSR. 

DWLSR – 03-0096 

Officer Brown conducted a traffic stop in the 5200 block of SE Abshier Blvd for an inoperable headlight. During the stop, it was discovered that the driver, Edwin J. Otero Hernandez (H/M, 10/15/1993), did not have a valid driver’s license. He was arrested and transported to MCJ. 

Battery (Domestic), Burglary/Battery – 03-0099 

Corporal Eaglen and Sergeant Miley responded to the parking lot of Opus Bar (6666 SE 110th St) after an anonymous report of an argument between a male and female. The female victim reported that her boyfriend reached into her vehicle and forcefully took her cell phone, then spit on her multiple times. Contact was made with the suspect, Lance Horton (W/M, 08/21/1967), after management asked him to leave the establishment. Following a post-Miranda interview, Horton was placed under arrest by Corporal Eaglen for the listed offenses and transported to MCJ. 

March 8, 2025 

Trespass – Warning Issued – 03-0105 

While conducting patrol, Jasmine Rios (W/F, 09/21/1983) was issued a trespass warning per an open trespass order for 4799 SE 106th Pl. 

Battery (Domestic) – 03-0106 

Officer Rodriguez responded to a well-being check at a residence in SE 115th LP. Upon arrival, contact was made with an adult male who had visible injuries and reported being the victim of a domestic battery that occurred overnight. After further investigation, Jose Torres-Martinez Jr. (H/M, 11/11/1999) was arrested for the listed offense and transported to MCJ. 

Retail Theft – 03-0109 

Officer Tyler responded to Dollar Tree regarding a Hispanic female stealing various items valued at $124.25. Surveillance images of the suspect will be posted on Facebook to aid in identification. 

DWLSR – 03-0119 

Officer Brown arrested Pablo Cruz Rosales (H/M, 08/18/1985) following a traffic stop. Rosales was transported to MCJ and charged with the listed offense. 

Flee/Elude, Resisting Without Violence – 03-0121 

Officer Brown attempted to stop a 1996 black Honda Civic in the 5300 block of SE Abshier Blvd after a records check revealed the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. The driver failed to immediately pull over and eventually stopped in the parking lot of AdventER. The driver, Daniel F. Linkenback-Russ (W/M, 06/17/2003), refused to exit his vehicle, argued with officers, and demanded an explanation. Officer Brown removed him from the vehicle and placed him under arrest without incident. He was transported to MCJ and charged with the listed offenses. He also received a citation for DWLSR (unknowingly), and his vehicle was towed by Checkmate Towing.
