Deputies say pizza worker spray painted bedroom, punched holes in walls, then tried to cover it up with paint and lies
A Five Star Pizza employee is facing felony charges after deputies say he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom, trashed it with spray paint and fists, and then returned to push her during a heated altercation.
Bradley Delaney was arrested March 24 and charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, criminal mischief with damages over $1,000, and domestic battery, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to a residence where the victim, Mackenzie Quoka, said Delaney—who she shares two children with—had entered her bedroom while she was away, punched holes in the walls, ripped down blinds, destroyed her TV and stand, and spray painted vulgar messages on the walls. One of those messages, later painted over, reportedly read: “A woman who is willing to put the dad of her kids in jail deserves Hell.”
Quoka said Delaney initially fled the scene but came back minutes later and pushed her while trying to get inside the residence. A witness overheard the confrontation and confirmed hearing her scream “get your hands off me.”
Deputies noted evidence of vandalism throughout the room, including mismatched paint and faint writing bleeding through. They also reviewed a recorded phone call in which Delaney allegedly admitted to the destruction. However, when reached by phone during the investigation, Delaney attempted to blame the damage on the witness—despite having already confessed in the earlier recording.
Deputies tracked Delaney down at his workplace, Five Star Pizza on Highway 441, and took him into custody without incident.
