Belleview Trio Wins Big in Business Challenge

The Ocala CEP recently hosted their 11th Annual Youth Business Planning Competition, and it was an event to remember. Out of 29 entries, five finalists were chosen, and one of those finalists came from none other than Belleview High School. A team of three talented FFA and AICE students—Chloe Davis, Hailey Shannon, and Cadance Martin— made their mark with a brilliant business idea titled “You Leave, We Feed!”

The trio had five minutes to present their idea to a panel of five judges—local sponsors of the CEP—followed by three minutes of questions. The judges were thoroughly impressed by their professionalism, preparedness, and the unique concept behind “You Leave, We Feed!” The girls were evaluated on a range of criteria, including their visual presentation, public speaking, ability to conclude confidently, and overall delivery.

The exciting moment arrived when the judges announced that Chloe, Hailey, and Cadance had claimed the coveted first-place prize! This victory came with a $4,500 reward, an entrepreneur-level partnership with the CEP, an exclusive interview for their social media platforms and TV20.

At Belleview High School, they couldn’t be more proud of the girls and all the dedication they poured into their project. What began as a simple Ag Business class assignment quickly turned into an award-winning business venture that will certainly leave its mark. Congratulations to Chloe, Hailey, and Cadance for this incredible achievement!
