Two siblings found themselves riding a different kind of bus yesterday — straight to jail — after a bizarre confrontation with a Marion County Public Schools bus driver.
Deputies say it all started when Natasha Francois, 33, stormed onto a school bus during morning pick-up, confronting the driver in a heated tirade and refusing to leave until repeatedly ordered off.
But the drama didn’t end there. Authorities say Natasha’s brother, Bryan Francois, 25, spent the afternoon tailing the same bus in his Toyota Camry, following it all the way to the final stop.
Once the last student exited, Bryan allegedly approached the bus, then hurled a pair of brass knuckles through a window as the driver attempted to flee the scene, causing about $400 in damage. When questioned, Bryan admitted he was furious about the earlier altercation involving his sister and tossed the weapon “out of anger.”
Deputies arrested Bryan on charges of Throwing a Missile into a Vehicle, Carrying a Prohibited Weapon, Criminal Mischief, and Disturbing a School Function. Natasha was charged with Trespassing on School Property and Disturbing a School Function. Both were booked into the Marion County Jail — proving that while some people miss the bus, others crash right into trouble.
