Belleview is flipping the holiday switch a little brighter this year as the city hosts its annual Light Up Lake Lillian celebration on Saturday, December 6, from 2 to 7 p.m. The free community event packs the park with food trucks, live music, hands-on crafts, and the annual countdown to the tree lighting — a local tradition that reliably kicks the season into gear.
Families can browse a holiday marketplace, decorate cookies, craft felt ornaments, and visit with Santa before the sun goes down. This year brings a new twist: a partnership with Holiday Outdoor Décor will add fresh lighting displays around the lake and tinsel-wrapped light poles for an extra holiday pop.
Vendor registration is open for nonprofits and local makers ready to set up shop in a 10-by-10 booth.
The city also credits its sponsors — Gary Yeomans Ford, Graphicten, Fixit Tek, Peek’s Printing & Design, FreeUp Storage Belleview, and Bradley Blessing – State Farm Agent — for helping bring the holiday glow to life.
