In Loving Memory of Patricia Thompson Dennis 12/6/1951 – 8/4/2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and Memaw Patricia Thompson Dennis, who departed this life on 8/4/2025 at the age of 73.
Born in Thomasville, GA on 12/6/1951, Patricia Ann Dennis was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She lived her life with grace, compassion, and strength, always putting others before herself. Her unwavering love and support shaped the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Larry Dennis, sons Richard (Bubba) and wife Carla Dennis and Biff and wife Sarah Dennis. 7 grandchildren, Cyndel, Jackson, Savannah, Reece, Clayton, Dorian, and Emilia. Her loving sister Jane Brady along with countless others whose lives she touched.
Patricia dedicated herself to her family and was the heart of our home. She found joy in the simple things—sharing meals, tending to her plants, telling stories, and making everyone feel welcomed and cherished. Her laughter, wisdom, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed. patricia’s greatest joy was her family and her faith. She loved Jesus with all her heart and faithfully served her church throughout her life. She was more than a mother—she was a mother figure to many, offering wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support to everyone blessed to know her. Her ability to make each person feel seen, respected, and loved was a rare and beautiful gift. For 36 years, she poured her heart into teaching with the Marion County School Board, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. Her classroom was a place of encouragement, compassion, and learning. Her influence continues to live on in those she taught and mentored.
A celebrate of life will be held on August 9th 2025 at Church of Grace address 7076 SE 110th street Rd Belleview Fl 34420, beginning at 4PM. Friends and family are invited to join us in remembering her beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice House of Marion County (Grace Davis Hall House)
